There are over 30 alumni associations formed on
departmental, programme or interest basis. All alumni associations are
either incorporated as limited companies under the Companies Ordinance
or registered societies under the Societies Ordinance. Though the alumni
associations are legally independent from the University, they maintain
close liaison with the University through joint effort in developing
alumni activities and services.
