Overview

Founded in 1990, CityU's College of Business is one of the youngest and most forward-looking business schools in Hong Kong. With a diverse team of 170 faculty members recruited from around the world, we offer a wide spectrum of business programmes at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels.

The College offers a caring learning environment. It is committed to providing quality education that prepares students for meaningful employment with enhanced career paths, and keeps them abreast of the latest developments in their chosen professions. The philosophy underpinning the College's teaching is that students, faculty members and the business community are life-long learning partners.

The College also operates various Senior Executive Training Projects for executives from the Mainland and overseas to enhance their management knowledge, leadership skills and international horizons:

  • Cooperated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University to provide an executive training programme to over 190 executives from 2001 to 2004.
  • Offered a two-year Senior Executive Training Programme to the senior management of the Beijing Capital International Airport (BCIA), Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Guangzhou) and INVESCO Great Wall Fund Management Co. Ltd.
  • Since 2005, we joined the Omnium Global EMBA alliance in partly delivering the China Module of the longest running Omnium Global EMBA programme hosted by The University of Toronto and The University of St. Gallen.
  • From 2007, the College has collaborated with Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, India; SDA Bocconi - School of Management, Italy; and Anderson School of Business, UCLA, USA to offer an Advanced Masters Programme in Management of Global Enterprises.
