Travel and Accommodation
Participants should arrange their own travel and accommodation for attending the 5-day programme. For hotel accommodation, they may choose Woodfin Suites Hotel since a room block will be held for this programme until 30 June 2009:

| Hotel Reservations |
Each programme participant is responsible for making his or her own hotel reservation. The cost of the hotel room is not included in the programme fee. A room block is being held at the Woodfin Suites Hotel Emeryville for programme participants. Group discount rate at USD173 (inclusive 12% hotel occupancy tax) per night [1 bedroom suite two doubles] is available for programme participants. You may make your hotel reservation for Woodfin Suites Hotel when applying the programme. Hotel rooms are based on availability and may sell out prior to the deadline on 30 June 2009. You will receive the confirmation of your hotel room reservation via email the latest by 30 June 2009.
Notes: Hass School of Business will arrange bus transportation to and from the
School and Woodfin Suites Hotel on the Monday through Friday programme days if there are at least 20 participants staying in Woodfin. |

Visa Application

- Hong Kong Resident
Hong Kong residents holding Hong Kong SAR or British National (Overseas) passports, or Hong Kong SAR Documents of Identity for Visa Purposes require a visa to visit the United States.
- Macau Resident
Residents of Macau holding Portuguese passports do not require a visa to travel to the United States if their passport is machine-readable. However, visas are required for those who hold Macau SAR passports and Macau SAR Travel Permits.
- Canadian Citizens and Canadian Landed Immigrants
In general, Canadian passport holders may apply for but do not require a visa to enter the United States. Canadian citizens must have a passport to travel to the United States from any country or region outside the Western Hemisphere, including Hong Kong.
Please note that electronic visa application form (DS-160) should be used for applying the visa. All visas are returned by Hong Kong Post. There is no same day delivery of visas. Most visas are delivered in 3-4 business days, but occasionally additional processing is required which may take 14-90 days. As such, please schedule your appointment as soon as your travel plans are made and as far in advance as possible. The College of Business, CityU and Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley will provide support letters to registered participants for applying the required visas for entry to the US upon request.

Smart casual for the classes and business attire for visits and dinner/reception arranged by Haas School of Business.
