Fees, Payment and Cancellation

Fees

I. Tuition Fee per participant for the 5-day session
(1) HK$20,500 - Current students of MBA, EMBA, DBA and other Taught Postgraduate Programmes in College of Business, CityU
(2) HK$30,000 - Alumni of MBA, EMBA, DBA and other Taught Postgraduate Programmes in College of Business, CityU and referrals as approved by College of Business, CityU
(3) HK$38,000 - External Applicants
The tuition fee will cover instructional materials,  continental style breakfasts, morning and afternoon refreshments and lunches on the 5 programme days, plus one dinner.
II. In addition to the above tuition fee, participants are required to pay for their own travel, accommodation, visa application and travel insurance etc.

Payment

No payment is necessary until you have been accepted into the programme. After admission notification, we will send you an invoice via email; payment is due within 2 weeks of the invoice date. We accept payment by cheque made payable to ‘City University of Hong Kong.’ Details will be included on the programme invoice. If the payment is not received by the due date, it is assumed that the participant is no longer interested in the programme and the place will be offered to others.

Cancellation or Replacement

If you need to cancel participation, you must submit your request in writing to the College of Business, CityU via email: cbhaas@cityu.edu.hk by 30 April 2009 to receive a full refund less cancellation fee. Due to programme demand and the volume of pre-programme preparation, a cancellation fee of HK$2,000 will be charged for each cancellation. REFUNDS WILL NOT BE GRANTED for cancellation made AFTER 30 April 2009. Please allow 6 - 8 weeks for a refund.

Replacement registration will be considered if written email notice (cbhaas@cityu.edu.hk) and replacement application are received by 30 June 2009. Replacements should NOT be those who have already submitted their applications for the programme. A transfer fee of HK$500 and the difference in tuition fee (if any) will be collected if a replacement registration is approved by the College. REPLACEMENTS WILL NOT BE GRANTED AFTER 30 June 2009.

Important Notes

City University of Hong Kong and University of California, Berkeley are not liable for any related financial loss, theft, property damage, or personal injury resulting from registering for, participating in, attending any or all functions at the event, or traveling to and from the event. The total amount of any liability of City University of Hong Kong and University of California, Berkeley will be limited to a refund of programme fees collected. (Please also refer to "Cancellation" section)

City University of Hong Kong and University of California, Berkeley reserve the right to cancel the Programme. In the unlikely event that the Programme must be cancelled, all paid registrants will be given an opportunity to transfer to the same programme to be held next year. City University of Hong Kong and University of California, Berkeley assumes no responsibility or liability for any other costs incurred by participants as a result of registering in and/or attending the programme.
