Eligibility

First-year students admitted to the BBA programmes with the following qualifications or equivalent are welcome to apply for YSP:

For local students admitted through JUPAS

1. Attaining at least Grade D in AS-level Use of English;
2. Attaining an admission score of 16 or above in two A-level subjects (e.g. 2 Bs) or 1 A-level plus 2 AS-level subjects.

For local students admitted through non-JUPAS

1. Attaining at least Grade D in AS-level Use of English or equivalent
2. Good academic performance in Associate Degree studies

For international and local students admitted through direct applications (non-JUPAS)

1. Attaining high level of proficiency in English, e.g. IETLS 7.0, TOEFL 600 (paper-based) or 250 (computer-based) or 100 (internet-based);
2. Attaining good academic performance in public examinations such as IB, GCE A-level, SAT.

For non-local mainland China students completing Foundation Year

1. Good scores in mainland China’s National University Entrance Examination (NUEE);
2. Proficiency in English;
3. Good academic performance in the Foundation Year.
