Programme Details

The following are entitlements for YSP students who are expected to participate in most or all of the activities, which will be duly recorded in their future co-curriculum transcript:

In Year 1 winter break, study tour to Japan (5 to 7 days).

In Year 1 summer break, study tour to Europe (7 days in Paris or London, 3 to 4 weeks in U.K. such as Cambridge/Warwick for English immersion) and a shorter internship/volunteer work possibly attached to the immersion programme.

In Year 2 Semester A or B, student exchange to the U.S. or other places of the students’ choice.

In Year 2, summer internship in Hong Kong or elsewhere.

In Year 3, special career training and workshops for job placement and further studies.

In Year 3, invited to join BGS international honor society.

Seminars/high table dinner lectures/field trips designed specially for YSP throughout the 3 years.

Special mentoring scheme supported by academics and professionals.

Participation in community services and volunteer work arranged locally and overseas through the Student Ambassador Scheme, Peer-Assisted Learning (using Supplemental Instruction model) Scheme, CB Language Clinic, Student Mentoring Scheme, etc.
