Professor Chi-hou CHAN , Acting Provost of City University of Hong Kong, oversees all academic and associated development of City University, including faculty appointments, retention and promotion and the successful transformation to a modern curriculum with global orientation.

The Provost is assisted by Associate Provost (Academic Planning and Undergraduate Education) and Deans of Colleges and Schools, namely College of Business , College of Humanities and Social Sciences , College of Science and Engineering , School of Creative Media , School of Energy and Environment and School of Law on academic planning and development initiatives. He is also supported by the Chief Information Officer , the Director of City University Hong Kong Press and the Director of School of Continuing and Professional Education .
